FIVE MUNICIPALITIES IN THE COUNTRY WILL TEST INTEGRATED ENERGY SOLUTIONS THAT WILL ENSURE SMART USE OF ENERGY RESOURCES!
Five municipalities in the country will test integrated energy solutions that will ensure the smart use of energy resources thanks to the project "Energy Management and Innovative Use of RES", supported and implemented by #AEER in collaboration with Green City Llab and funded by GEF SGP.
The teams delegated by the 5 municipalities, Sireți, Lozova, Budești, Vorniceni and Mereni, took the decision to contract energy efficiency services from an organisation, which will act as the local energy management team.
Following field visits, the experts assessed and analysed the energy management system, made an analysis of current energy and water consumption and planned some measures to minimise energy consumption, ensuring a long-term positive change.
Thus following the technical assessments energy efficiency measures were prioritised for the following institutions:
In Sireți, out of 6 buildings examined, Kindergarten 1 and Kindergarten 2 were proposed for energy improvements.
In Budești, out of 8 buildings examined - Cultural Centre and Kindergarten "Viorel and Viorica".
In Lozova out of 4 buildings evaluated - Kindergarten "Speranța".
In Mereni 4 buildings were examined. It is proposed to prioritise energy efficiency measures for the Primary School.
In Vorniceni, out of 5 buildings, it is proposed to prioritise energy efficiency measures for the kindergarten.
Each of these localities will benefit from the installation of photovoltaic systems, electric stations with a capacity of 3.5 Kw, a wind generator with a capacity of 1 Kw, a solar collector system for the preparation of domestic hot water. At each stage of the work, municipalities will receive
assistance in their implementation.
These measures are realised thanks to the project "Energy Management and Innovative Use of RES", supported and implemented by AEER in collaboration with Green City Llab and funded by GEF SGP.
