Call for Expression of Interest for Home Owners’ Associations (HoA)!
This Call for Expression of Interest announces that a Call for Application for HoA on Thermal Rehabilitation and Energy Efficiency Measures in Small Apartment Buildings will be launched in January 2025. Selected HoA will be offered a grant component of 70% from the Moldovan Residential Energy Efficiency Fund (MREEF). For vulnerable beneficiaries even up to 90% of the remaining own contribution of the eligible investment costs can be supported.
This Call is only for Home Owners’ Associations (HoA) of
small apartment buildings of up to 20 apartments. It will be organised by the project Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energies in the Republic of Moldova (E4M), implemented by GIZ Moldova and supported by the National Center for Sustainable Energy (CNED).
The project offers up to 30 energy audits free of charge for selected HoA in the first stage. Based on the highest energy saving potential of these energy audits and other corresponding criteria
up to 10 HoA will be selected as pilots for a technical design free of charge and qualify for the above-mentioned grant components for thermal rehabilitation and energy efficiency measures (including renewable energy sources) if they can contribute to the costs with their own share.
HoA will only be able to participate in the upcoming Call for Applications, if they have
- the legal form of an organization of an APC (under Moldovan law),
- represent the typology of a small apartment building with up to 20 apartments
- have been put into operation before 2005
