Support to 25 communities in development or update of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans/ Resilient Communities through Women empowerment project, phase 2

The goal of this initiative is to support a total of 42 selected local communities (Local Public Authorities (LPAs)) grouped into two cohorts in developing and implementing Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans (SECAPs) that will enhance climate resilience and contribute to mitigation and adaptation efforts.

This will be achieved through capacity building, technical assistance, data collection and processing, and mentoring, specifically focused on reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and managing climate risks. The initiative aims to improve disaster resilience, promote ecosystem-based adaptation, and empower women by fostering sustainable and resilient alternative livelihoods
